A Fair Cup, also known as a "Gong Dao Bei" (公道杯), is used in Gongfu tea setup to ensure even distribution of tea. After brewing, the tea is poured into the Fair Cup and then into individual tasting cups. This ensures that each person gets tea of the same strength and flavor.
