Hu Xiao Yan Rou Gui
Hu Xiao Yan(虎啸岩) Rou Gui is a type of Rougui oolong tea from the Zhengyan (正岩) area of the Wuyi Mountains, known for its unique source location called "Tiger Roar Rock." This name originates from the loud roaring sound produced when mountain winds pass through a large cave on the rock. This Rou Gui variety is celebrated for its distinct, sharp cinnamon aroma, which sets it apart from the Wuyi oolong teas. Beyond cinnamon, it unfolds a complex aroma profile including floral, fruity, milky, and honey notes, much loved by rock tea enthusiasts. This particular Hu Xiao Yan Rou Gui features a spicy flavor with pronounced cinnamon and floral notes, is categorized as a highly fragrant, and carries the unique terroir taste of Tiger Roar Rock.
